What we do
MDM implementation or consolidated enterprise data storage services include:
- Gathering and analyzing business requirements for the system. Creation of Terms of Reference for MDM implementation.
- Setting up data retrieval from the customer's automated systems (by our specialists or with the help of personnel servicing such systems). Integration setup may include the use of web services, message broker, ESB corporate service bus, direct access to DBMS. Data acquisition from business applications is performed in real time, the interval from changing an object in the source system to updating the corresponding information in MDM should not exceed 1 minute.
- Design and implementation of data cleaning (normalization) rules, data quality control, consolidation rules, rules of duplicate detection and processing (deduplication) in the software environment. Our MDM system has a set of preconfigured rules, including: switching text cases (upper, lower, CamelCase), correcting character layout (Cyrillic/Latin), normalization of phone numbers and e-mail, normalization of postal addresses and determination of CATO code, verification of correspondence of CATO code to address, verification of IIN, gender and date of birth coincidence, etc. The MDM system can be configured with any other rules required. Any other rules required by the customer can be customized.
- Initial generation of reference datasets.
- Customize the distribution of benchmarked, cleansed data to business applications and storefronts.
- Designing organizational processes for master data governance. Creation of instructions on working with MDM for personnel.
- Setting up scaling (clustering in Kubernetes), monitoring and log collection, backups, access rights to the MDM system.
- Conducting preliminary tests, pilot operation, and acceptance tests of the deployed system.
