Address normalization (cleaning) service allows to turn any Kazakhstan postal address entered manually into a set of structured components (street, house, etc.). Attention: the site presents a beta version of the service, inaccuracies may occur.
The principle of service operation:
- The service defines types of address components - city, street, house, etc. Dictionaries of streets and neighborhoods are used (in the demo version presented on the site - only for Almaty).
- Completes missing address components according to the KATO directory, determines the CATO code and region code for the address.
- Addresses written in Latin characters (e.g. for international mail) are converted to Cyrillic.
- Service result: canonicalized address, CATO code, region code, address components.
